The New Mortgage Audit Operations at FU Gayrimenkul are featured in an article by Finans Gündem

27.11.2015
"In an article entitled ‘Does my current mortgage portfolio maintain its secure nature?’ Finans Gündem discusses FU’s dealings with mortgage audit reports.
A mortgage audit report inspects whether a mortgage meets the requirements of the mortgagee in light of the property and encumbrance details. We check if there are any missing documents, such as the letter of consent from a spouse. In order to find out encumbrances which exist at the time the mortgage is being processed but are registered afterwards, we obtain a current copy of the title deed records from the land registry. Using this, an explanation and evaluation of these encumbrances can be given as to how to remedy these issues.

This news article also quotes from Ertuğrul Bul, FU Gayrimenkul’s CEO:

“Many of the corporations in Turkey secure credit by means of a mortgage. These transactions that are executed by their employees or third party helpers should be meticulously inspected by a professional and objective consultant.”
